Serving Emerald Isle, North Carolina since 2001, Our menu contains a variety of dishes, specializing in seafood, steaks, salads, and sandwiches. Flipperz offers customers a cozy dining experience for all ages. Outside connected is a screened-in porch where folks can enjoy appetizers and their favorite beverages while watching games on TV. Originally designed as a sort of “waiting area,” it has become a popular feature of the restaurant. A new addition to our Bar and Grill was recently added, called Flipperz Etc. Here we offer Flipperz apparel, anything from beach chairs to shot glasses. Flipperz Etc. also has a wine cellar, carrying over 30 different vineyards of wine. One of Flipperz’ trade secrets is George’s Mix, a dry blend of seasonings that wakes up anything from salads to turkey to fish to soup, according to Kris and Randy. The mix’s creator, George Sterchi of Knoxville, TN, is an old family friend who had been making his secret concoction in his basement for many years, then sharing the savory result with friends and family. He finally revealed the coveted recipe to Kris in 2002 (even Randy and George’s own family don’t have access to the secret). Now you too, can enjoy George’s Mix – as part of your Flipperz dining experience and as a take-home item.
