Flipperz Family Bar and Grill, owned and operated by Kris Shoffner, is your one stop shop for excellent food, fabulous homemade fudge, and awesome Emerald Isle memorabilia. Flipperz is the restaurant on the island that leaves you with a touch of good ole island fun. Every part of Flipperz was created by hand, from floor to ceiling, from the warmth of inlaid hardwood tables and booths to the beautiful mosaic Flipperz sign. One of the most unique characteristics of this cozy island grill is the “penny bar,” topped with 4,000 shiny, new un-circulated pennies. Each penny was carefully placed with gloved hands in exactly the “heads up” position – all except one! What fun it s to search for the “heads-down” penny!
